Everything&Anything

This week has been a quiet week and we have made progress in a lot of projects and subjects.
In Mini Company we have wrote up our proposal for the principal and also have wrote a survey to get feedback off the school and community to see if people would be interested in our idea's.
In Science we were put in groups of 4 and had to think of a project. My group and I have decided on a chemist called Dmitri Mendeleev. We will all research about him at the weekend and put our project together.
All next week in geography it will be our last week to complete our Trip Around the World project.
In Junk Kouture we are nearly finished sewing and sticking on icepop sticks to our top , we have nearly also finished our skirt and have started on our jewellery.
This morning a speaker from Kildare County Council came to speak to us about  cycling to school and cycling all over the world. 4 people from Transition Year will get a chance to cycle to and from school everyday.
Bye for now,

Fun Walk

Last Friday was our Annual Fun Walk. This year Transition Year students were the colour yellow. My class had chosen to do Yellow Lego , we would make our Lego box using cardboard and would stick toilet rolls onto our box for the Lego pieces. We chose the song Hey Ya and made up a dance for it. In class while practicing our dance worked out perfectly but unfortunately on the day the CD was started at the wrong time and we started too late. Also unfortunately we didn't win but were still happy enough. My class also had to guide the school on the walk. Our jobs were to stand at different points to show where to go.
Overall the day was great and everyone enjoyed the fun walk. Each year and class were also very good at their routines. The teachers involved in routines were very funny, especially Mr.O'C.
